Cacocum - May arrives and with it the rains that together with man make the earth produce and change from brown to green hope.
On May 17, one more anniversary of the National Association of Small Farmers is commemorated, a date of celebrations for the entire Cuban peasantry.
On this occasion, upon reaching the 61st anniversary of the foundation of this association, the municipal act was held in the territory at the CPA Antonio Maceo, located in the Popular Council of Cayo Cedro.
Until this productive form highlighted by its results during the year, several delegations arrived from different areas of the municipality on behalf of all the peasants of the municipality, who were accompanied by political and mass authorities from the province and the rest of the territory.
During the festivity, several cultural numbers were performed which showed the traditions of our peasantry, of our Cuban people by amateur artists from the "Pá Mi Gente" cultural project, as well as children belonging to the Antonio Maceo House of Culture.
In this event, several recognitions were given to the productive forms that stood out in the fulfillment of different indicators that contribute both to the economy and to the nutrition of our people.
Likewise, recognition was given to several peasants for being National Vanguards, such as the case of the young Raúl Pérez Romero associated with the CPA Antonio Maceo, CPA who, in addition, his Campiña Pioneril Niceto Pérez was recognized as "Campiña 61 Aniversario"; prize that is awarded for the results obtained in vocational training and professional guidance.
As National Vanguard, the "CPA Agusto Cesar Sandino" was recognized for the results achieved throughout the year 2021.
Without a doubt, this place once again demonstrated the commitment to the Revolution of all those who make it possible for food products to reach the population.
