Cacocum - Council of Municipal Defense in the territory dismantles actions taken before the passage of the Tropical Storm Elsa, when entering the province of Holguin to the Normality Phase.

After being decreed the Normality Phase by the Cuban Civil Defense in the provinces of Guantánamo, Santiago de Cuba, Granma, Holguín, Las Tunas, Camagüey and Ciego de Avila from 11:00 a.m. today, the Municipal Defense Council in the territory acts to dismantle all the measures applied, before the possible affectations of the Tropical Storm Elsa.

During the Video-Conference realized with the 14 municipalities in the morning of today and directed by the Council of Provincial Defense in Holguin the last precisions were realized to be able to fulfill all the measures to take when entering this new phase.

The Cacocum territory after the passage of this tropical storm did not suffer any affectation for which all the measures before imposed by the Temporary Work Group are maintained in view of the complex hygienic epidemiological situation (); informs Mariela Cruz Herrera Vice-president of the Defense Council in the municipality.

The Evacuation Commission informs that no damage was suffered by the population and they will be transported to their homes after lunchtime.

Sanitation actions will begin in the centers that were taken for evacuation.

Health maintains the measures and continues with the active surveillance of the epidemiological situation in the municipality.
The population is alerted to maintain vigilance in case of possible rains.
